November

The month to be in it for the long-haul...

Thailand

November is one of the best months to explore Thailand, with the monsoon season ending and sunny, comfortable days across much of the country.

Northern cities like Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai are perfect for temple visits, trekking, and cultural experiences, while the Andaman coast offers sparkling beaches and calm seas. Don’t miss papillon favourites in Six Senses Yao Noi and Amanpuri - the original Aman property and our go to in Phuket.

The only exception are the western islands, including Koh Samui which can experience high rainfall throughout the month.

Chile

Spring in Chile offers pleasant temperatures and stunning scenery from the deserts of the north to the lakes and vineyards of the south.

Patagonia comes alive with longer days and dramatic landscapes perfect for trekking, wildlife spotting, and photography. Santiago and Valparaíso offer a blend of culture, cuisine, and lively city life, while the coastline invites scenic drives and peaceful retreats.

Remote luxury lodges are dotted throughout Chile, with visits to Tierra Atacama and Awasi Patagonia being at the top of my travel wishlist.

Australia

With spring in full swing, November is an amazing time to explore Australia’s diverse landscapes.

The southern regions are warming up, ideal for beach escapes, wine regions, and coastal drives, while the north begins to dry out, perfect for wildlife spotting and nature adventures. Add a hop to Tasmania where a stay at Saffire Freycinet is a guest favourite.

Cities like Sydney (hello Capella Sydney) and Melbourne buzz with culture, festivals, and dining, making it a month that blends urban energy with outdoor exploration.

St Vincent & the Grenadines

November is a quieter month in this Caribbean paradise, with warm seas, soft beaches, and vibrant coral reefs to enjoy without the crowds. With over 30 islands to explore, it’s easy to see why guests return year after year.

From low key boutique stays in Bequia, to privacy and exclusivity in Mustique, where private villas or the iconic Cotton House Hotel make for your idyllic island home. There’s truly something for every kind of traveller, no matter if you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a blend of both.

Nicaragua

November marks the end of the rainy season, revealing lush green landscapes, volcanoes, and sparkling lakes across Nicaragua.

Colonial cities like Granada come alive with vibrant streets and markets, while the Pacific coast invites surfing, sun, and quiet beaches. Adventure seekers can trek volcanoes, explore cloud forests, or kayak in serene waterways, making it an ideal month to experience nature, culture, and authentic local life.
